My name is Zeyuan Hu (胡泽远 in Chinese) (pronunciation guide). I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at UCLA, advised by Prof. Remy Wang. Prior to joining UCLA, I spent five years as a Graduate Researcher at UT-Austin, where I focused on algorithmic game theory and an optimal but practical join algorithm for databases. Currently, my research focuses on developing new algorithms that are provably fast in both theory and practice for a variety of applications.
